Take the train to Quinta do Vesúvio, where the farm's staff will be waiting.
Upon arrival, the welcome with refreshments is followed by a jeep tour of the vineyard, led by an experienced guide who shows the main vineyard plots and tells the best stories, in a setting of magnificent views of the Douro Valley, a World Heritage Site . The visit continues to the century-old wine cellar, where traditional foot-treading methods are preserved in eight granite presses. In the cellar you can feel all the romanticism associated with Port Wine, complementing the knowledge acquired in the vineyard with aspects related to the production of this unique wine.
Entering the iconic main house, visitors will have the opportunity to taste some of the most special wines from Quinta do Vesúvio, the DOC Douro and Vintage Ports. The tasting takes place in the house's cellar, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of a place where prestigious wines age. The magnificent veranda of the manor house is the setting for a lunch that will certainly remain in the memory of those who have the privilege of visiting Vesúvio, allowing themselves gastronomic moments, conviviality and leisure, resulting in a unique experience.
